DEAFining is an Interest Group (IG) in Republic Polytechnic that wishes to increase the awareness of deaf community and culture. Made up of hearing impaired students and hearing students, it hopes to build social inclusion through working together on Service Learning projects and open communication through learning Signing Exact English (SEE).

As the Vice President of DEAFining, I have worked with my fellow EXCOs in planning and coordinating the signing classes for our members. I have helped to plan and host events for our members, both with our community partners as well as within our IG. I have created social media posts as well as edited TikTok and song signing videos for the IG as well.
